Meet the Candidates

The North Coast Immigrant and Multicultural Services Society would like to invite you to a special meeting called Meet the candidates.

The purpose of this special meeting is to allow you to meet the candidates who are running for the mayor position. All 3 candidates confirmed their presence.

The agenda of the evening is simple: each candidate will have 10 minutes to do a presentation followed by a short period of questions.

The special meeting will take place at the multipurpose room of the Prince Rupert Public Library (101 6th Ave W.), on Thursday November 10, 2011 at 7 p.m.

I understand that there were some fireworks left over from last week’s Halloween celebrations and that they were shot off last night at the event. I missed the event last evening, but I understand in talking with others that it had an “explosive” or heated exchange between candidates Jack Mussallem and Kathy Bedard!

Would love to hear from those in attendance as to what their take on the evening was.
